WoodDreams exists for the pleasure for all who log on.  Primarily focused on wood working, WoodDreams also encompasses our family.  It will be under constant change, adding new projects and family notes of interest.

I work wood for pleasure.  If you view some of my projects, you will see I have a fairly eclectic collection of products.  Some of the projects were commercial (paying jobs) while the others were done for family.  These projects, and the steps to create them, will be published as they occur.

My Shop:  Approximately 20 feet square, it's one of the rooms in our finished basement.  All my major tools are on mobile bases for easy re-location.  As far major tools are concerned, I'm tooled out!  I would very much like to have a lathe but it just isn't possible.

Where I was able, I combined tools into one mobile base.  Here is an example of my 13 inch thickness planer and sanding station.  There are two clevis pins, one on each side, that hold the mounting table in place.  Pull the pins and the table rotates 360 degrees.  Rotate it 180 degrees and the base presents the other tool.

Towards the back of the shop you will see a 3/0 door.  The foundation of the house was formed for a fireplace that was not installed.  After walling over and installing the door, I ended up with a closet big enough for the vertical tank air compressor and my Delta dust collector.  I've used every square inch of space!

We hope you enjoy the tour.......
