I was commissioned to build a 12 foot long, floor to ceiling bookcase made from cherry veneer plywood and solid cherry face frames.  I had to provide book storage, computer storage on a full-extension drawer, a lateral file cabinet, a lighted desk area and a lighted curio display.  It took four months to design and build.  It was finished in BLO, shellac and water borne lacquer.  The customer was quite happy with the results.

This unit was so big I built in six sections.  These sections were delivered a couple at a time.  It took a few weekends to get the delivery accomplished and all the pieces fitted together into one seamless unit.
