This project is a complimentary cabinet to the previously built Spice Cabinet.  Like the Spice Cabinet, it's made from Birch plywood with a solid Birch face frame.  It's finished with Dye, 2# Shellac and Lacquer.

The top section of the cabinet provides six bookshelves that are adjustable.  The mid section has two drawers mounted on full extension rollers for potatoes, onions and garlic and below these drawers are two shallow "clean-out" tray to catch vegetable debris.  The drawer fronts are made from Birch and brass chicken wire so the vegetables can breathe.  The bottom of the drawers have wire mesh to allow vegetable debris to fall into the "clean-out" drawer just below.   The bottom section is a wine rack capable of holding 24 bottles. The top of the unit is crowned with a galley rail to match the spice cabinet.  Patti designed this cabinet to meet her needs.
