This is a replacement table.  The original table was oval and sported a Formica, wood grain top.   LOML wanted it replaced with a longer rectangular table shown below.  It has given us much more room around the table.  In conjunction with the table, I also built a Buffet to complement the new table and existing china hutch.

I retained the original legs.  The table was part of a dining room set, Mediterranean in style and 30+ years old!  The tops is 3/4" Oak veneer plywood with a solid Oak skirt.  The top is held in place with wooden clips.  As you can see in the finished picture, it turned out quite nice.
