The Shop is very convenient. Located in our basement, it's no problem to go in and work for a while. My work style is causal. Generally I don't have a schedule to meet so I can think about problems and then go to the shop to see if my "solutions" work. Everything is immediately available and ready to use. If there was one thing I would like to change is its size. I don't want much just 5 feet on both the length and width. The reason for the additional size is processing sheet goods. To cut a 4x8 sheet, I have to do some very careful re-arranging of mobile tools to get the job done.
I have a friend who has a HUGE shop and having worked in it, I have determined that "bigger is NOT better." You just about need roller skates to get from one tool to another! My tools are much more convenient.
